Tademy, a founding member of Snoop Dogg's non-profit Snoop Youth Football League for inner-city children, will receive the Changemaker Award at Sunday's Inspire Change game presented by Toyota.

The Los Angeles Chargers will highlight the decades-long community work of Snoop Youth Football League Executive Board Member and 2025 Inspire Change Changemaker nominee Nykauni Tademy at Sunday's Inspire Change game presented by Toyota. As part of the NFL's Inspire Change initiative, the Chargers annually recognize an individual from the greater Los Angeles region whose dedication to inspiring future generations through sports has made a lasting impact on the community.

For the better part of the last 20 years, Tademy has served thousands of families through her work with Snoop Youth Football League and Snoop Special Stars – helping create youth access to critical after-school programming and safe spaces that enable growth and the ability to simply play. Her commitment as a program leader, innovator and "team mom" has helped countless young Angelenos realize their full potential and changed lives.

Founded in 2005 – with Tademy as an integral member of the founding team – Snoop Youth Football League is a non-profit organization that gives inner-city children the chance to play football and cheer. The league's goal is to teach kids values like teamwork, discipline, and self-respect, and to promote fair play and fellowship.

Snoop Special Stars – the Special Needs division of the Snoop Youth Football League – serves kids over the age of the five with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities, noting the program's motto of "EveryBODY Plays!"

"To be the Chargers Inspire Change Changemaker means so much to me," said Nykauni Tademy. "To be recognized and appreciated, it's just a wonderful feeling. It's the reason that I do what I do – to give back to the community. I plan to continue as long as I live to keep trying to make a change and do what's best. I learned from the best, Snoop Dogg. I thank the Chargers for this acknowledgment and recognizing all the work that I do in the community."

Tademy, and her passion for creating a better tomorrow for youth within our community, embodies the spirit of the Inspire Change Changemaker Award. The NFL's Inspire Change initiative supports player-led efforts to collaborate with various stakeholders, including team owners, public officials, law enforcement, academic institutions and community partners to strengthen local communities and society at large. The Changemaker Award specifically acknowledges individuals in each NFL team market making significant contributions across Inspire Change's focus areas: education, economic advancement, police-community relations, and criminal justice reform.

During the first quarter, Tademy will be recognized for her tireless work in the community and her devotion to Snoop Youth Football League and Snoop Special Stars over the last 20 years. During the special moment, the NFL Foundation will donate $10,000 to Snoop Youth Football League Foundation in Tademy's name.

Since the launch of the league's social justice initiative, more than $300 million in grants have been awarded to social justice organizations as part of the NFL's Inspire Change initiative. The expanded partnership builds on the NFL's social justice grants, which have supported more than 650 local non-profits, 1,950 player and Legend matching grants, and more than 40 national grant partners.
