The Los Angeles Chargers today elevated linebacker Shaquille Quarterman from the practice squad for Sunday's game.
A 2020 fourth-round selection by Jacksonville, Quarterman appeared in 67 total games (65 regular season, two postseason, including the two victories this year with the Bolts. Over his career, Quarterman has totaled 29 tackles (16 solo), a tackle for loss, a forced fumble and 26 special teams tackles in the regular season, while also adding a defensive stop in the playoffs. He played collegiately for four seasons (2016-19) at Miami, appearing in 52 games for the Hurricanes and posting 292 tackles (182 solo), 13.0 sacks, an interception, 13 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and five recoveries. Quarterman was a first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection in 2018 and a second-team choice in 2017.
