Los Angeles Chargers el lunes anunciaron que firmaron a Bradley Bozeman.
Aquí hay cinco cosas para saber sobre Bozeman:
1. Lineman experimentado
El centro más nuevo de los Chargers llega desde Carolina.
Bozeman fue liberado por los Panthers al comienzo del año de la liga después de pasar dos temporadas allí. Jugó en 34 partidos (28 como titular) como centro de Carolina durante dos temporadas con el equipo.
Se une a los Bolts como uno de los linieros ofensivos con más experiencia de la liga, jugando en 96 juegos (77 como titular) en diferentes posiciones de la línea desde 2018.
2. Más familiaridad en el edificio
Bozeman es muy conocido con el Gerente General Joe Hortiz y el Coordinador Ofensivo Greg Roman.
El jugador de 29 años fue una selección de sexta ronda (numero 215) de los Ravens en el Draft de la NFL de 2018 cuando Hortiz era el Director de Cazataleno Universitario.
Completaría y contribuiría en su temporada de novato, jugando en 14 partidos (uno como titular).
Sin embargo, cuando Roman se convirtió en el encargado de las jugadas ofensivas la temporada siguiente, Bozeman asumiría el papel titular durante las siguientes tres temporadas en Baltimore.

3. Campeón Nacional x2
Bozeman mostró su flexibilidad de posición en Alabama, donde terminó su carrera con dos títulos nacionales.
Después de vestirse con camiseta roja en su primer año, el liniero pasó un tiempo como guardia de reserva y centro reemplazando cuando era necesario y contribuyendo en equipos especiales.
No fue hasta 2016 cuando Bozeman ganó el puesto de centro titular y se despegó, ayudando a Crimson Tide a terminar segundo en la liga en ofensiva terrestre (245.0 ypg).
Y en su última temporada universitaria en 2017, Bozeman fue nombrado unánimemente Segundo Equipo All-American y ayudó al Tide a avanzar hacia un Campeonato Nacional como su centro titular.
4. Un corazón impactante
Bozeman ha sido un liniero ofensivo impactante durante su estancia en la liga, tanto dentro como fuera del campo.
El liniero ofensivo ha sido nominado dos veces al premio Walter Payton Hombre del Año, que reconoce a un jugador de la NFL por su excelencia dentro y fuera del campo. Fue el nominado de los Ravens en 2020 y el nominado de los Panthers en 2022.
Bozeman y su esposa, Nikki, establecieron la Fundación Bradley y Nikki Bozeman en 2018, que se centró en programas contra el bullying escolar que educaban a los niños y sus familias sobre los peligros del bullying infantil.
Y en 2020, comenzaron a combatir la inseguridad alimentaria durante el COVID-19 iniciando distribuciones de comidas en Baltimore que solo continuaron creciendo cuando se mudó también a Carolina.
5. Ex recluta de 4 estrellas
Antes de que Bozeman fuera titular en Alabama, era un liniero dominante en la escuela secundaria del estado.
Bozeman, quien es de Roanoke, Alabama, fue un liniero ofensivo de cuatro estrellas de Handley High School y fue el recluta número 14 en el estado en 2013.
Fue reclutado por más escuelas importantes de la SEC y otras conferencias importantes, pero optó por quedarse en el estado y jugar para Crimson Tide.
